With the power of retrospect, I see how lucky I am that I was curious enough in my life to find mentors, curious enough to be a collegiate swimmer, and curious enough to change when it was time. All of our experiences add up, and you never know what doors, connections, and gifts will come from a simple act of curiosity.
This week, I share the curious results that unfolded from being open to possibility in the hopes that it inspires you to be open to possibility too.

Being a parent is not for the faint of heart. Many of us find that parenthood isn’t the fairytale sold to us by our culture, and when it really gets hard, we tend to ask ourselves a lot of the same questions: Am I doing it right? Will I damage my kid? Am I a bad parent?

As children we are encouraged to play as a means of exploring and integrating our world. It may sound small, but as adults, it is the fun, the play, the little success of hitting the ball just right, that then make room for larger successes within your life and your greater community.
In this episode I share a recent adventure and how it challenged me to invite play and imperfection into my day-to-day routine. I indulge in the newbie-mentality and share how giving myself permission to participate without having to lead or know it all left space to discover new joys and growth within myself.
